Calvin Klein’s fashion line is not what comes to mind when I think of Calvin Klein Underwear. But some of their stuff is looking pretty cute. CK black is the Calvin Klein luxury line which focuses on underwear and nightwear with a more feminine touch compared to their usual sporty ranges. So I’m here reviewing one of the prettiest styles “Spring Rose” which I purchased pre-covid.

The Bra
The first thing that struck me when I saw this set was that it looked very Jean-Paul Gaultier-esque.
The balconette bra features semi-sheer floral lace designed with ribbed satin panelling along the underwired cups for extra lift and support. It’s made from stretch-lace with pretty scalloped edges, tulle wings and adjustable straps to customize the fit.

I love that this is a great everyday bra that has a little edge to it. I was definitely drawn to the set itself by the shape of the cups and the satin panels. Sure it’s a little odd for what you’d expect in an everyday bra but it’s pretty and makes me feel like a low key Madonna haha. Comfortable for long wears the lace and elastic are nice, soft and stretchy which makes it fit well but doesn’t give much shape if you are after that extra lift.

Besides the satin panelling, the other thing I really love about the bra is the high apex lace detailing on the back. This makes the set look a little more exciting from behind as there isn’t much design to the back of the briefs. So instead of being a really plain mesh bra band, they’ve put some thought into that and I like it.

Available in sizes 10A-16D Black, and Alluring Blush (dusty pink). I’m wearing a size 32DD in Alluring Blush.
The Bottoms
The bottoms feature a rose right on the centre of the lace and carries the satin panelling on the waistband for continuity. They are so soft and really comfy to wear all day without digging into your skin. Available in a brazillian brief but I would say it’s in between a thong and a tanga in my opinion. I found these run a little large. I usually go for a medium with bottoms since I like to wear them higher on the waist but I had to get these in a size small. What do you think of the Calvin Klein fashion line?

My thoughts are not in the right place for blogging this month so my apologies for sounding a little rushed.
Thank you for reading even though there is so much going on in the world right now and it seems like things really are going to s***
Stay safe!
